John Medinger, a former La Crosse mayor, is running for the city's highest office once again.
It's been eight years since Medinger held the office. He served two terms from 1997 until 2005.
Before he was mayor, Medinger spent 16 years in the state assembly. Most recently he's been working for Senator Herb Kohl.
