Kader Keeps Council Seat In Recall Race

A landslide win for Audrey Kader... The La Crosse City Council president got 73 per cent of the votes in a three-way recall race on Tuesday. Kader received 196 votes in the 11th district, to 42 for Jerome Gundersen and 26 for Gage Maurer. Local tea party activists wanted Kader removed from the council for reportedly leading efforts to reduce public input at council meetings. Full Story: WIZM
