Highway Truck Versus Cattle Trailer

A Vernon County highway truck collided with a cattle trailer around 12:30 Monday south of Hillsboro. 56 year old David Mueller, of rural LaValle was operating a dump truck, equipped with a snow plow, for the Sauk County Highway Department when he entered an intersection and began to make a right turn and did not see an eastbound pickup truck, pulling a livestock trailer, driven by 48 year old Dean Urban of rural Hillsboro.
