Fire destroys Town of Shelby home, residents, dog escape

Two residents and a dog escaped a house fire in the Town of Shelby late Saturday night, according to the Shelby Fire Department. A second dog did not survive, said Shelby Fire Chief Mike Kemp. Firefighters arrived at the home on Leske Road around 11:05 p.m. It took until 8 a.m. Sunday to completely put out the blaze, Kemp said. Full Story: WXOW
