A for sale sign on the front of a house on Copeland avenue in La Crosse was apparently all the invitation that thieves needed to strip the place of the copper inside. Cops say a realtor showing the house near Monitor street this week-end was surprised to find all the copper tubing and much of the electrical wiring had been cut out of the house by thieving scrappers.
