Area hunter dies after ATV overturns

FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, Wis. - A 54-year-old hunter from rural Black River Falls died after his ATV overturned and fell on him Friday morning in Franklin Township. The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office said Marvin Waldsmith was operating an ATV while out deer hunting with his young son in a wooded area located at W15109 CTH-G in Franklin Township.
